* Cherry-pick important fixes to 2.1.2-esp
  - CVE-2020-22283: Attacker could craft a packet that would disclose 8 bytes of some heap memory:
    - icmp6: Don't copy too much data
    - icmp6: Fix copying of chained pbuf in reply
    - icmp6: keep to the RFC and send as much as possible with icmp6 error messages
  - CVE-2020-22284: ZEP - ZigBee Encapsulation Protocol/6LoWPAN is not supported in IDF,
    the netif module (zepif.c) is not included in the build, but users can still inject
    the file into compilation process, implement IO interface and use this.

27f5c90e2e freertos: Fix usage of vTaskSuspendAll()/xTaskResumeAll() 
IDF FreeRTOS uses vTaskSuspendAll()/xTaskResumeAll() to stop preemption
on a particular core. However, those functions behave differently in FreeRTOS SMP.
This commit replaces all calls of vTaskSuspendAll()/xTaskResumeAll() with
vTaskPreemptionDisable()/vTaskPreemptionEnable() when compiling with SMP FreeRTOS.

883da858b0 freertos: Fix various build errors 
This commit fixes various build errors in IDF (and tests) when compiling
with SMP FreeRTOS:

- Updated usage of xTaskGetIdleTaskHandle()
- Disable sysview tracing macros
- Update some task snapshot functions
- Disabled test_freertos_hooks.c test as vApplicationIdleHook() and
  vApplicationTickHook() are used.

37c270b337 freertos: Update Xtensa port files to support FreeRTOS SMP 
This commit updates the copied Xtensa port to support the new porting interfaces
of the FreeRTOS SMP kernel. These modifications are mainly contained in

- FreeRTOSConfig.h
- FreeRTOSConfig_smp.h
- portmacro.h
- port.c

Some porting interfaces have changed in FreeRTOS SMP. In order to allow building
with IDF, compatibility interfaces have been added.

163ddc3818 freertos: Update components CMakeLists.txt and Add SMP Kconfig option 
This commit does the following:

- Add a Kconfig option to select between the IDF FreeRTOS kernel and the
  FreeRTOS SMP kernel.
- Updates the freertos component's CMakeLists.txt so that FreeRTOS SMP
  files are now built based the the new configuration option.

This commit WILL NOT compile. The port files for FreeRTOS SMP still need to
be updated.

89dd2fe7f5 freertos: Copy IDF xtensa port files 
This commit copies over ESP-IDF Xtensa portable files to the
FreeRTOS-Kernel-SMP directory. No changes were made, this commit
only copies the portable source files.

2d1afaf35b freertos: Add FreeRTOS SMP upstream files 
This commit copies over the sources files from
https://github.com/FreeRTOS/FreeRTOS-Kernel/tree/smp based on the
commit 4832377117b4198db43009f2b548497d9cdbf8da

The FreeRTOS SMP sources are added to components/freertos/FreeRTOS-Kernel-SMP

Notes:
- This commit WILL NOT compile correctly. It simply copies over sources files
- copyright_ignore.txt entries added so that we can avoid using SPDX headers
- Portable files are not added yet

964592e189 fatfs: Add trim ioctl call, set FF_USE_TRIM as default option. 
FF_USE_TRIM is set by default with this commit. Fatfs invokes disk_ioctl
with CTRL_TRIM to erase the sectors calling sdmmc_erase_sectors to choose the right
argument for the erase operation based on media type.

ffdbeee9f6 sdmmc: Add erase command-38. Support erase/trim/discard/sanitize 
options.

Erase command (38) for SD cards allows option for erase/dicard/fule
operation at block level and for MMC cards supports option for
discard/trim at block level. When Sanitize is executed only the
portion of data that was unmapped by a Discard command shall be
removed by the Sanitize command.

Unit test cases added to verify ERASE feature in SD/SDSPI mode.
TRIM/DISCARD/SANITIZE tests for eMMC devices.

e543e97c7b system: fix SET_STACK macro crashing in windowoverflow8 exception 
If a windowoverflow8 happened after changing the SP, the exception handler would look for
the extra save area by looking at the previous frame's SP. This SP would be a garbage value
and could cause the windowoverflow exception to write to invalid memory ares.

mbedtls: disable files generation, specify Python interpreter to use 
When GEN_FILES is enabled, Perl interpreter should be available. There
is a check in mbedTLS that disables GEN_FILES on Windows (where Perl
is not available by default) but it is broken for recent CMake
versions.

Also set Python interpreter to the one IDF uses, just to avoid calling
into some other Python version which CMake might manage to find.

3b71bd7326 mbedtls-3.0: Fixed ESP32 build issues 
- Added MBEDLTS_PRIVATE(...) wherever necessary
- For functions like mbedtls_pk_parse_key(...), it is necessary to pass the RNG function
  pointers as parameter. Solved for dependent components: wpa_supplicant & openSSL
- For libcoap, the SSLv2 ClientHello handshake method has been deprecated, need to handle this.
  Currently, corresponding snippet has been commented.
- Examples tested: hello-world | https_request | wifi_prov_mgr

mbedtls-3.0: Fixed ESP32-C3 & ESP32-S3 build issues
- Removed MBEDTLS_DEPRECATED_REMOVED macro from sha1 port

3ab9acddc1 newlib: stdatomic: fix conflicting types for atomic built-in functions 
Also use `unsigned int`, `short unsigned int`,`long long unsigned int` etc types

4d8a0cce29 ulp: Added support for ULP FSM on esp32s3 and fixed bugs for esp32s2 
This commit enables ULP FSM support for esp32s3 and updates ULP FSM code
flow for other chips.
It adds C Macro support for the ULP FSM instruction set on esp32s2 and
esp32s3.
The unit tests are also updated to test ULP FSM on ep32s2 and esp32s3.

bcf7608cf8 i2c: Enable I2C Slave mode with input-only pin as SCL.

If we use I2C in slave mode, we can use input-only pin for SCL line (GPI 34-39).
But there is a problem in i2c_set_pin() which is called by i2c_param_config().
In case of using GPI as SCL the following statements are failed:
	1. gpio_set_level(scl_io_num, I2C_IO_INIT_LEVEL);
Function fails because it cannot set level for input pin. As a result a ESP_LOGE() is called.
	2. gpio_set_direction(scl_io_num, GPIO_MODE_INPUT_OUTPUT_OD);
Function fails because it accepts only GPIO pins. ESP_LOGE() is called, input mode is not enabled for the pin and as a result - no interrupts from the pin.

7ed8fdac59 esp_wifi: Always connect Station in PMF mode if possible 
While using esp_wifi_set_config, flag pmf_capable defaults to 0.
Users may not bother to enable it, which prevents connection to a
WPA3 AP. Or the AP may reset into WPA3 mode failing the re-connection.
To ensure better security, deprecate the pmf_capable flag and set it to
true internally.

6782971332 sdmmc: accept CMD_DONE being is reported together with RTO 
SDMMC databook specifies that when an error interrupt is generated
(such as RTO, DCRC, RCRC), CMD_DONE interrupt is also generated.
The code used to break out of the event handling loop to wait for
another interrupt event to happen, reporting CMD_DONE.
However if interrupt processing was delayed, it is possible that
a single event contains both RTO and CMD_DONE. Previously, CMD_DONE
would not be handled, and the state machine would be stuck in
SDMMC_SENDING_CMD state, until a timeout. This didn't change the
outcome (err=0x107), but delayed the handling of response timeout
event.

Fix by not breaking out of the event handler, optionally processing
the CMD_DONE interrupt if it has been reported in the same message.

95cc6cfac4 LWIP: Make system timeout POSIX compliant (required by lwip_select) 
`lwip_select` uses `sys_arch_sem_wait` function making the assumption that it
is POSIX compliant. This commit makes that function wait for at least
timeout (milliseconds), as required by POSIX specification.

versions of a macro based on the number of arguments. This replaces the previous

1c60d6a895 freertos: Add SPDX license identifiers and update xtensa port files 
This commit does the following:

- Adds SPDX license identifiers to FreeRTOS sources. Remove those FreeRTOS sources from
  the copyright ignore list.
- Update xtensa port files to match FreeRTOS v10.4.3. Added SPDX license identifiers
  to the port files.
- Fixed some improperly licensed files
- Removed portbenchmark.h from RISC-V port

3336b057d6 xtensa: Move saving of a0 register to match upstream 
Upstream xtensa exception handling will save PS, PC, and a0 registers
together when saving a minimal context. This commit ppdates the xtensa
exception handling to match upstream behavior.

db914d6272 wifi_prov_mgr: Fix provisioning not stopping in release mode 
- For the wifi_prov_mgr example in release mode (with NDEBUG defined -
  assertions disabled), the task to stop provisioning is never started
  as it is voided by the assert function it is called in.

2fc9bd61bf ulp: refactor ulp component 
This commit refactors the ulp component.
Files are now divided based on type of ulp, viz., fsm or risc-v.
Files common to both are maintained in the ulp_common folder.

This commit also adds menuconfig options for ULP within the ulp
component instead of presenting target specific configuations for ulp.

d4190a9471 wpa_supplicant: mark global variables defined in headers 'extern' 
...to avoid defining common symbols.
GCC since version 10 defaults to -fno-common and doesn't generate
common symbols, leading to duplicate definitions of these symbols.

1d4061d3f2 refactor (nvs_flash)!: removed mbedtls as default dependency 
mbedtls is only required in NVS if NVS encryption is enabled.
Hence the mbedtls dependency is now only added if encryption
is enabled, otherwise it is not added.

BREAKING CHANGE: Removed mbedtls as default dependency
