For targets that only contain a USJ peripheral (and not a DWC OTG), their
'usb_fsls_phy_ll.h' headers only contain a single function
('usb_fsls_phy_ll_int_jtag_enable()') whose feature is already covered by
functions in 'usb_serial_jtag_ll.h'. Thus, this header is redundant.
This commit does the following:
- Remove 'usb_fsls_phy_ll.h' for targets that only contain a USJ peripheral
- Rename 'usb_fsls_phy_[hal|ll].[h|c]' to `usb_wrap_[hal|ll].[h|c]` for targets
that contain a DWC OTG peripheral. This better reflects the underlying peripheral
that the LL header accesses.
This commit renames USB PHY related HAL files from "usb_phy_xxx" to
"usb_fsls_phy_xxx" since they are only designed to support Full-Speed/Low-Speed
Serial USB PHYs. This renmaing is done to accommodate future USB PHYs that use
other PHY interfaces (e.g., UTMI, ULPI etc).
since the linker placement of the hal functions are controlled by the Kconfig in the driver component,
we should create the linker.lf in the driver component, not in the hal component.
- Support SOC ROOT clock source switch
- Support CPU frequency change
- Support RTC SLOW clock source switch
- Support RTC SLOW clock + RC FAST calibration
Remove FPGA build for esp32h2
This commit updates the DWC_OTG based struct/ll/hal file names to
use the prefix "usb_dwc". This naming scheme reduces ambiguity if
another USB controller implementation is added.
As a result, "hcd.c" has been renamed to "hcd_dwc.c"
Wrap the ledc, i2c source files with the new caps in CMakeLists and linker.lf.
This could avoid potential source file not found warning during linking time.
This commit makes changes to cpu_ll.h, cpu_hal.h, and interrupt_controller_hal.h:
- Moved to esp_hw_support in order to be deprecated in the future
- HAL/LL API now route their calls to esp_cpu.h functions instead
Also updated soc_hal.h as follows:
- Removed __SOC_HAL_..._OTHER_CORES() macros as they dependend on cpu_hal.h
- Made soc_hal.h and soc_ll.h interfaces always inline, and removed soc_hal.c.
This commit also updates the XCHAL_ERRATUM_572 workaround by
- Removing it's HAL function and invoking the workaround it directly the bootloader
- Added missing workaround for the ESP32-S3
After refactoring the target components (e.g. esp32) no longer contained any real functionality.
What remained in these components have been moved elsewhere and the component itself deleted from the
build system.
