d823106aa6 asio: Use internal ssl context and engine impl 
Implement asio-ssl layer with three classes in asio::ssl::mbedtls:
* context -- replaces SSL_CTX, used mainly as a container to options,
certs, keys
* engine -- replaces SSL, implements the actual mbedtls operations
* bio -- implements openssl BIO specifically tailered to mbedtls and
its asio usage

Further updates:
* asio: Used shared_ptr<> for bio pairs
* asio: Add error checks to mbedtls-bio
* asio: Address potential ssl-context ownership issue
* asio: Address potential bio-engine ownership issue

e99490a0dd CI: Fix example test for http_request 
Test is based on a public http server which might not be always
available, so the example test checks if it's available
so the test could be (by)passed if the public server not available.

But we didn't correctly check if a socket/timeout exception occurs
when trying to connect

37da873da9 Fetch headers in POST example for native requests 
In the POST section of `http_native_request` headers are not fetched. thus, just commenting out the GET request example would result in a `status` and `content_length` of `0` being reported (quite confusing).

(Plus, it should log `HTTP POST Status` here, instead of `HTTP GET Status`.)

81e9266204 [examples]: removed hyphens 
Replaced hyphens with underscores in examples
project definition for all examples which had
hyphens in their project name. dpp-enrollee is
an exceptions because the name matches the
project directory name while the project
directory also contains hyphens.

336de29413 Examples/pppos_client: Fix manual parsing to accept unexpected lines 
Regression from a90817cda0 that caused
parsing exit in case of an unexpected result found (line handler
reported ESP_FAIL). Prevously if any error found in the line handler we
just posted an unexpected event, but continued with parsing. Fixed by
allowing for further parsing.

a90817cda0 Examples/pppos_client: Remove uart pattern detection 
Due to these problems
* possible race condition, two events competing
* pattern detection work a little different for different IDF versions
* switching between pattern detection and data reading is complicated
* using just data events is easier for porting to a different communication peripheral
These changes were made:
* Removed the UART pattern detection entirely
* Used manual pattern detection after reading plain data from the UART

Feature note: Sets up a simple DNS server that answers all questions with the ESP softAP's IP as well as a HTTP server which redirects all requests to a captive portal welcoming page.
Triggers captive portal detection (log-in screen popup) for iOS, Android and Windows.
Includes example test for testing DNS redirect and HTTP redirect.

d6248eaf9b Examples: esp_modem_dce_service: Make esp_modem_dce_handle_* functions static 
These functions are unlikely to be reused, make them static.
Take esp_modem_dce_handle_cbc as an example, it's internal implementation
of esp_modem_dce_get_battery_status, expose esp_modem_dce_get_battery_status
function is enough.

920edd4e73 partition_table: Add a "single factory app (large)" option for 1.5MB app size

Function esp_modem_netif_clear_default_handlers() didn't unregister
event handlers from IP related events, so if the netif modem was
reinitialized the previous handler was called with already destroyed

a1d5cfc260 example: Identify the callback whether is hanshake or frame-receive by req->method 
Now the uri handler gets called immediately after the handshake. In the handler we can identify that this was the handshake by checking req->method as it is still a GET from the first part of the handshake the client has sent. On a normal websocket-frame-receive (when normally a websocket uriHandler gets called) this field is set to 0

03901946ba Explain how to fix 'httpd_parse: header too long' 
Because this is the 'simple' server example, it is probably where users will start out to understand the HTTP Server API; and also where they might come if they are having problems.
So I think it is useful to explain to users what to do if they see "httpd_parse: parse_block: request URI/header too long", which can easily happen if they submit a POST from an HTML form (for example). That certainly would have helped me!

acc7bd2ca4 ws_transport: Add option to propagate control packets to the app 
Client could choose if they want to receive control packets and handle
them.
* If disabled (default) the transport itself tries to handle PING
and CLOSE frames automatically during read operation. If handled
correctly, read outputs 0 indicating no (actual app) data received.
* if enabled, all control frames are passed to the application to be
  processed there.

55d41c3377 esp_modem: Fixed race condition on exiting PPP mode 
esp_modem_stop_ppp() stops both ppp netif and switches the modem back to
command mode. IF these two actions are not synchronised, we might
experience issues of
* active PPP session trying to send/receive uart-data
* command mode already active before modem switched to it
both resulting in crashes.
Fixed by introducing the transition mode and running these actions in sequence
* set esp-modem to transition mode
* enter command mode, wait for the reply or re-sync
* close the PPP netif
* wait until the netif closes
Other fixes include ignoring certain events if modem component not ready
or not in appropriate mode:
* ignoring all UART events comming from DTE with no DCE attached
* ignore pattern detection in PPP mode

Issue:

Missing newline between header and attachment

Issue seen with email clients viz., AppleMail and YahooMail. Attachment is not renderable.
Some clients like Google mail, Samsung mail tolerate the issue.

Reuses most of the code from BG96. At this moment, this is not a
perfect support for other modules as the generic handlers for most
common modem functionality is not easily reusable. Refactoring to a
fully independent modem component will solve this.

005f21accc http_server: WebSocket server to set flag in transmitted messages by default 
Add logic to set `FIN` flag automatically for transmitted WS frames, but
if `fragmented` option set indicating an expert/manual mode, then the
`FIN` flag is set according to the `final` option.

8f0ec8bd50 pppos client: modem netif fix ignoring potential modem-start error 
esp-modem netif glue layer implements esp-netif attach callback to setup corresponding driver functions and start the modem. The error code of esp_modem_start_ppp() was ignored and ESP_OK returned in all cases. Fixed by passing esp_modem_start_ppp()'s error code to post_attach callback.

7dbf01afad coap: move mbedTLS config options from component to examples 
CoAP component relies on some mbedTLS crypto configuration
options, e.g. DTLS and PSK. These configuration options if
selected, have footprint impact on generic TLS examples like
https_request or https_ota as well.

Footprint of https_request example with/without change is per below:

3758177bf8 mdns-example: fail gracefully if mdns response not received within timeout 
If mdns answer hasn't been received within timeout, Value error would be raised, but the mdns-server-thread would still run, blocking CI jobs. Fixed by moving the raise statement within try-finally block

5f4e2cf391 socket examples: fix random ci failure on reading ipv6 address 
dut.expect() returns groups of a matching regex, but could be truncated upon reading/buffering. fixed by forcing expect to acquire exactly 8 octets of IPv6 address, i.e. not supporting short-handed entries such as fe80::0000..

745f062e07 esp_modem: pppos_client modem to use uart with REF_TICK 
pppos_client example used the UART default clock configuration which might
cause issues if power management enabled. Settings updated to UART_SCLK_REF_TICK
Also need to explicitly disable RX interrupts in UART pattern detection
mode.

e57dbf7c27 http-server-example: correction of regex waiting to acquire IP address 
Since the recent refactoring of spi bus_lock comonent introduced heavy logging under debug/verbose level of verbosity, the http-server test executed in the CI became less stable due to complicated regex. Fixed by removing the first optional group

e27c495354 Fixed broken http2_request example. 
Implementation of `esp_tls_conn_new_sync` now uses timeout_ms value to
give up retries.

fffdc1d789 esp-netif-ppp: support for setting ppp netif up and down 
calling esp_netif_up() and esp_netif_down() was not supported if the
underlying netif wos of ppp type. Updated the code to enable setting
these interfaces up/down and registered actions in moden_netif glue for
connection/disconnection events to set the netif up/down.
