110aac240d heap: Add a configuration that places all the heap component and related functionalities in flash when enabled
Add test configuration to run all tests with heap component in the flash.
Add reference to this new configuration in performance section of the documentation.

1a66459b44 usb_serial_jtag: Improve the code for the issue of usb cdc device unable to work during sleep
1. Remove RTC_CLOCK_BBPLL_POWER_ON_WITH_USB Kconfig option
   During sleep, BBPLL clock always gets disabled
   esp_restart does not disable BBPLL clock, so that first stage bootloader log can be printed
2. Add a new Kconfig option PM_NO_AUTO_LS_ON_USJ_CONNECTED
   When this option is selected, IDF will constantly monitor USB CDC port connection status.
   As long as it gets connected to a HOST, automatic light-sleep will not happen.

72becf31e4 twai: Add errata workaround for listen only mode
This commit adds a workaround for the TWAI listen only mode errata which is
present on the ESP32, ESP32-S2, ESP32-S3, and ESP32-C3. twai_get_status_info()
has also been updated to account for the fact that TEC/REC are frozen in
listen only mode.

Errata Description:

When the TWAI controller is put into listen only mode, it should not influence
the TWAI bus in any way (i.e., should never send a dominant bit). However,
on the targets listed above, the TWAI controller will send dominant bits in an
error frame (i.e., active error frame), even if the controller is set to listen
only mode.

Workaround:

We can force the TWAI controller into the error passive state on startup (by
setting the REC to >= 128). Since the TEC/REC are frozen in listen only mode,
the TWAI controller will remain error passive and only send recessive bits
(i.e., passive error frames), thus will not influence the TWAI bus.

fd37129651 esp_ringbuf: placement in flash is no longer controlled by CONFIG_FREERTOS_PLACE_FUNCTIONS_INTO_FLASH
esp-ringbuf funtion placement is now controlled by its own configs:
CONFIG_RINGBUF_PLACE_FUNCTIONS_INTO_FLASH and CONFIG_RINGBUF_PLACE_ISR_FUNCTIONS_INTO_FLASH

2fb43820c2 driver_ng: implement new rmt driver
The legacy driver can't handle the breaking change between esp chips

very well.

And it's not elegant to extend new feature like DMA, ETM.

The new driver can return a opaque handle for each RMT channel.

An obvious transaction concept was also introduced.

TX and RX functionalities are splited out.

5bfe873725 driver: deprecate legacy rmt driver
The legacy driver is still available, but new feature won't be added.
Enable RMT_SUPPRESS_DEPRECATE_WARN if you don't want to see the
deprecated warnings.

Eliminate UT_T1_GPIO runner requirement by routing internally through gpio matrix and by setting gpio pins to GPIO_MODE_INPUT_OUTPUT mode for all interrupt related test cases.

4c57f50fe4 TWAI: ISR runs when cache is disabled
This commit adds the feature where the TWAI ISR will continue to
run even if the cache is disabled. Whilst cache is disabled, any
received messages will go into the RX queue, and any pending TX
messages in the TX queue will be transmitted. This feature should
be enabled using the CONFIG_TWAI_ISR_IN_IRAM option.

8cddfa35b8 spi: fix the crash when callbacks are not in the IRAM
Introduced in 9c23b8e5 and 4f87a62f. To get higher speed, menuconfig
options are added to put ISR and other functions into the IRAM.  The
interrupt flag ESP_INTR_FLAG_IRAM is also mistakenly set when the ISR is
put into the IRAM. However callbacks, which are wrote by the user, are
called in the master and slave ISR. The user may not be aware of that
these callbacks are not disabled during flash operations. Any cache miss
during flash operation will cause panic.

Essentially IRAM functions and intrrupt flag ESP_INTR_FLAG_IRAM are
different, the latter means not disabling the ISR during flash
operations.  New bus_config flag intr_flags is offered to help set the
interrupt attribute, including priority level, SHARED, IRAM (not
disabled during flash operations).  It introduced a small BREAK to
IDFv3.1 (but the same as IDFv3.0) that the user has to manually set IRAM
flag now (therefore he's aware of the IRAM thing) to void the ISR being
disabled during flash operations.
