72d54b68a6 lwip: dhcp-server fix static analysis warnings 
1) kill_oldest_dhcps_pool() is only called when list has at least two members (assured with kconfig value limit), added assertion to ensure this function is used only when prerequisities are met
2) use after free reported in two places, since the analyzer checks also the scenario when the linked list has loops, added ignore tags

872272e23a lwip: make IPV6 link-local support over PPP configurable 
Make the link local negotiation for IPV6 in PPP optional and
configurable.
This is because some modems do not support the IPV6 negotiation and
sending IPV6CP frames would in some cases break the network
configuration phase, resulting in a timeout during the Phase Network.

Please note that this does not disable the IPV6 support for the outgoing
communication (IPV6 is still enabled even if this option is not
selected) but just for the local link between lwIP and modem.

e48fe540be include/sys/socket.h: ensure SOMAXCONN symbol is defined 
SOMAXCONN is expected to be defined in this header, but for the esp32
port is found in net/if.h from newlib.

Avoid the issue by including the net/if.h header in sys/socket.h so that
compatibility is preserved.

64377b54d1 include/netinet/tcp.h: wrap lwip/tcp.h header for compatibility 
Some applications (i.e. Azure IoT SDK) are expecting this header to
exist and to contain the tcp constants and description.

The esp32 did not wrap the lwip/tcp.h header, thus this commit adds a
compatibility layer.

esp_common/esp_compiler: renamed esp_macros file to a more specific one

esp_common/esp_compiler: removed CONTAINER_OF macro, it was a duplicate

components/freertos: placed likely macros around port and critical sections

component/freertos: placed likely macros on lists module

components/freertos: placed unlikely macros inside of assertion points, they likely wont fail

components/freertos: added likely macros on queue modules

FreeRTOS queues are one of most hot code path, because to queues itself tend to
be used a lot by the applications, besides that, queues are the basic primitive
to form both mutexes and semaphores, The focus here is to place likely
macros inside lowest level send and receive routines, since they're common
from all kobjects: semaphores, queues, mutexes and FR internals (like timer queue)

components/lwip: placed likely/unlikey on net-interfaces code

components/fatfs: added unlikely macros on disk drivers code

components/spiffs: added unlikely macros on low level fs driver

components/freertos: added likely/unlikely macros on timers and ticker

freertos/event_group: placed likely/unlikely macros on hot event group code paths

components/sdmmc: placed likely / unlikely macros on lower level path of sdmmc

components/bt: placed unlikely macros around bt HCI functions calling

9b350f9ecc cmake: some formatting fixes 
Do not include bootloader in flash target when secure boot is enabled.
Emit signing warning on all cases where signed apps are enabled (secure
boot and signed images)
Follow convention of capital letters for SECURE_BOOT_SIGNING_KEY
variable, since it is
relevant to other components, not just bootloader.
Pass signing key and verification key via config, not requiring
bootloader to know parent app dir.

562af8f65e global: move the soc component out of the common list 
This MR removes the common dependency from every IDF components to the SOC component.

Currently, in the ``idf_functions.cmake`` script, we include the header path of SOC component by default for all components.
But for better code organization (or maybe also benifits to the compiling speed), we may remove the dependency to SOC components for most components except the driver and kernel related components.

In CMAKE, we have two kinds of header visibilities (set by include path visibility):

(Assume component A --(depends on)--> B, B is the current component)

1. public (``COMPONENT_ADD_INCLUDEDIRS``): means this path is visible to other depending components (A) (visible to A and B)
2. private (``COMPONENT_PRIV_INCLUDEDIRS``): means this path is only visible to source files inside the component (visible to B only)

and we have two kinds of depending ways:

(Assume component A --(depends on)--> B --(depends on)--> C, B is the current component)

1. public (```COMPONENT_REQUIRES```): means B can access to public include path of C. All other components rely on you (A) will also be available for the public headers. (visible to A, B)
2. private (``COMPONENT_PRIV_REQUIRES``): means B can access to public include path of C, but don't propagate this relation to other components (A). (visible to B)

1. remove the common requirement in ``idf_functions.cmake``, this makes the SOC components invisible to all other components by default.
2. if a component (for example, DRIVER) really needs the dependency to SOC, add a private dependency to SOC for it.
3. some other components that don't really depends on the SOC may still meet some errors saying "can't find header soc/...", this is because it's depended component (DRIVER) incorrectly include the header of SOC in its public headers. Moving all this kind of #include into source files, or private headers
4. Fix the include requirements for some file which miss sufficient #include directives. (Previously they include some headers by the long long long header include link)

This is a breaking change. Previous code may depends on the long include chain.
You may need to include the following headers for some files after this commit:

- soc/soc.h
- soc/soc_memory_layout.h
- driver/gpio.h
- esp_sleep.h

The major broken include chain includes:

1. esp_system.h no longer includes esp_sleep.h. The latter includes driver/gpio.h and driver/touch_pad.h.
2. ets_sys.h no longer includes soc/soc.h
3. freertos/portmacro.h no longer includes soc/soc_memory_layout.h

some peripheral headers no longer includes their hw related headers, e.g. rom/gpio.h no longer includes soc/gpio_pins.h and soc/gpio_reg.h

c03f84cecf add hostname option in dhcp discover 
Hostname option has been removed from dhcp discover since IDFv3.2.
But it remains in dhcp request due to which ESP32 can not get IPv4 address
from some APs. Re-add hostname option to dhcp discover to solve this issue.

bf443a763f tools: Support overwrite of includes for gen_esp_err_to_name.py 
gen_esp_err_to_name.py includes files like
components/lwip/include/apps/esp_ping.h as "apps/esp_ping.h" because all
subdirectories of "include" are used. If "components/lwip/include/apps"
is in the path of the compiler instead of "components/lwip/include" then
include "apps/esp_ping.h" will fail. This fix allows to process lines
like:
'// gen_esp_err_to_name.py: some text "esp_ping.h" some text'
in header files for overwriting the include.

Before LwIP was moved into a submodule, sntp and esp_ping were
available as the following includes:

This commit makes header files available at the old location, and adds
a deprecation warning for sntp.h.

event_callback() in sockets.c calls conn->socket-- to register
activity on a netconn which may not have any socket yet,
so any socket value < 0 indicates "no controlling socket"
for the netconn.

21584827b3 dhcp/dhcpserver Fix max station limit check in dhcp server 
Currently when MAX_STATION limit in DHCP config is set to N, dhcp server
issues only N-1 IP addresses. This is problematic from customer
perspective if both SoftAP MAX_STATION and DHCP MAX_STATION limit is set
to same value. With this change DHCP server can issue N addresses that
is inline with the set limit.

When tcp write/connect is running, close socket request will abort
    it and continue to delete netconn and close tcp. Do not immediately
    return after aborting tcp write/connect. Otherwise, tcp close
    requeset will block and tcp write/connect will crash.

a0cedb1f44 Fix type conversion error in components/lwip/api/pppapi.c 
Pointer tcpip_api_call *m  should be converted to pppapi_msg* instead of pppapi_msg_msg*
in pppapi_do_ppp_set_default(), pppapi_do_ppp_free() and so on.

It solve this issue https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/pull/1028
so there is no need to patch ip4.c because now netif_defauilt is setted correctly.
Also it prevents memory corruption when pppapi_free() is called.

552ba35da5 add missing ioctl declaration 
Previously ioctl was declared as a macro in lwip/sockets.h.
Disabling LWIP_POSIX_SOCKETS_IO_NAMES removed that declaration.

This adds sys/ioctl.h file and the missing declaration.
Also adds missing includes in vfs.c.

04a2cefb26 lwip: Enable IPV6_ONLY option for UDP sockets (BSD & netconn) 
* setsockopt(s, IPV6_ONLY, &one, sizeof(int)) will disable IPV6-only
  mode. Incoming/outgoing IPV4 packets are dropped.

* Otherwise, sockets bound to IPV6_ANY_ADDR can receive unicast packets
  for IPV4 or IPV6.

* sendto() a IPV6-mapped-IPV4 address on a UDP socket works correctly
  (not supported for RAW or TCP sockets.)

* getaddrinfo() option AI_V4MAPPED is implemented.

As well as extending support to TCP & RAW, there is some potential improvement
to dropping incoming packets - the drop happens a bit late in the process and
there is no "ICMP port unreachable" response sent.

20064978ba Fix the bug that if one device is in station+softap mode, other device can not 
get IP address after connecting to the softap.

    Now the default netif is station in station+softap mode. The UDP pcb of
DHCP server is binded to IP 0.0.0.0. When other device connects to softap, the
DHCP offer will be sent by softap.But because the destination IP of DHCP offer
is broadcast IP and the source IP of it is 0.0.0.0, it will be sent from default
netif, that is station interface. Other device can not receive the DHCP offer
sent from station interface. As a result, other device can not get IP address.
The resolution is that bind UDP pcb to the IP address of softap. So, the source
IP of DHCP offer is that of softap. DHCP offer can be sent from softap interface
by source IP route method.

Triggered on make 3.81, happens sometimes on Linux and always(?) on macOS. May depend on the order the OS' filesystem

Allow separate ethernet & wifi configuration

If only 1/2 of ethernet & WiFi are enabled in config, the other interface is no longer linked into the firmware.

* Fixes bug where enabling Ethernet but not WiFi would fail to compile.
* Also means that enabling WiFi but not Ethernet no longer links some unused ethernet interface functions.

66199b1efe Check DHCP rebind timer before checking dhcp release timer in cause they have the same value. 
lwip: modify dhcp timer granularity from 60s to 1s

Current DHCP granularity is 60 seconds, it's not accurate, it can cause DHCP release/rebind/renew timer
timeout at the same time, also it may renew/rebind/release at wrong time, thus cause problem.

03e3b137bf lwip: optimize the dhcp client 
1. modify the discover retry backoff time from (2,4,8,16,32,60,60)s to (500m,1,2,4,8,15,15)s.
2. add DHCP_DOES_ARP_CHECK to menuconfig for users to specify if do a ARP check on the offered address.
   If enable, one more second will be taken in obtaining IP address.
3. update wifi libs

a14f22f65b netconn_gethostbyname: Fix race reporting success 
If the DNS request is dispatched and performed very quickly,
then it can complete before tcpip_callback() actually returns,
in which case we'll destroy the actual err_t error value passed
in the message. Use a local variable for the tcpip_callback
error code so that can't happen.
